I renamed my win2ksect.bin file to hpxp.bin

I followed the directions on this site for moving the files from the HP XP PRO SP2 cd to a directory in easyboot (I called it HPXP)

I am using the menu command "run /hpxp.bin" to start the image

And now it boots up the Setup screen and then i get the error after it prompts me for F2 for ASR:

"Please insert the disk labeled Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD"

@madar

About WinXP…

It’s not only an issue if “ident files” (tag files) has been copied to the “main root” (EasyBoot\disk1). It’s a issue if “ident files” (tag files) has been copied to the “second root”.

Why not use original tutorial in EasyBoot help file together with tutorials originally written by xoben

Hi Dear balder

Nice talking with you

1.Yes the origional tutor in EasyBoot help file is very clear and complate.

2.I have seen error "Please insert the disk labeled....." a lot of times and
in most of the cases it was because of files i said in post#3

3.And some times The error is because of not using uppercase for files and folders

Any way ,i have got very happy to talk with you
