Hello, :O

Most hardware vendor diags and bios files are exe to create boot floppy or as an existing ISO bootable cd format. :cool:

I want to create a menu, with sub menus and choose which ISO,IMG files to boot from.

Really, I am lost, I already read some of the forums,and help/faq...

I can repackage my files to .bin,.iso.img, etc...but am not sure about which format is easiest, and if I need to inject or strip and files from the images? ???

I want a multiboot menu:Dell, IBM, SONY....then a submenu: Dell BIOS, Dell DIAGS...then make my selection and it kick off the iso/img file...

I do not understand how to create a menu, a sub menu, and properly get the folder structure correct for my bios files/creation of the iso file. When I boot, it boots to the easyboot splash screen but my boot menu choices always get errors...

For all who give me help/input I greatly appreciate it! :D

@wburling

Welcome to this forum :)

Well I can’t help you much how to create a menu as it is explained in help file (I don’t think I am the man to make any improvements on that part). On the other hand, how to create a submenu and how to jump to “main menu” may need some more explanation.
When I talk about “main menu” I mean default.ezb (I normally use default.ezb as “main menu”) you may use a different name as “main menu”.

Let’s say you want to create a menu to your format tools etcetera.
Create a new menu and save (or use “save as” if you have used a working menu – maybe default.ezb - that you have reworked/modified), save it with a new name, let’s call it format.ezb

Open default.ezb and create a new entry (use insert button) and set command  “run format.ezb” (no quotes). Program can now jump to submenu format.ezb
To jump back to default.ezb (our “main menu” in this example) you create an entry in menu format.ezb (use insert button) and set command “run default.ezb” (no quotes). You are now back to where you started, that will say; menu default.ezb.

You can of course jump from menu format.ezb to another second submenu (let’s say ibmtools.ezb) back to format.ezb or from this second menu (ibmtools.ezb) back to default.ezb (our “main menu” in this example).

Use short names to menus (8 letters or less) ibmtools.ezb works okey.

Hmmm… ???  Far from any clear explanation but hopefully a little bit help on your “road map” how to use this fine software.
