Forum: EasyBoot Topic: [Help] 3 Windows XP multiboot Problem started by: SoKoOLz Posted by SoKoOLz on Dec. 26 2007,10:10
Hi all,I've been using Easyboot for a while now, this program rocks! Now, I'm trying to get 3 Windows XP on one CD. There are: [1] Windows XP SP2 [2] Windows XP SP2 with SATA/RAID drivers [3] Windows XP SP2 with ALL Drivers The boot menu works fine, but I got many missing files errors for the choices other than choice [1]. I guess "wxp.bat" is not covered the additional drivers files that I 've integrated into choice [2] and [3]. How do I find out, what are other files that needs to be copied? I think it is somewhere inside "txtsetup.inf" But I don't know where to start looking for it. Please help, Thank you. ![]() Posted by SoKoOLz on Dec. 26 2007,12:45
Emm, well it seems that I got them all fixed and working..It's easier than i think, just look for zoneoc.dll and copy the following files upder that. Posted by billonious on Dec. 28 2007,08:47
Nice to solve it out!txtsetup.inf is modified by n-lite or whichever application you used to integrate drivers. Easyboot doesn't affect txtsetup.inf. So, zoneoc.dll is the point. I didn't know that. Does zoneoc.dll be text based? Posted by SoKoOLz on Dec. 28 2007,13:06
I'm using DP's Driver pack (www.driverpacks.net)I've compared the original txtsetup.inf with the integrated driver txtsetup.inf one. And I saw that there are some files in addition after zoneoc.dll line. Mostly those files are from SATA/RAID drivers, it needs to be loaded before installing Windows. So that's the reason. right, dp's driver pack from Bâshrat the Sneaky. I use his driver's pack too. Very handy pack. Just to know about, whenever you add system files (hotfixes, drivers, themes...) into your modified/unattended XP setup CD, the respective files are written in txtsetup.inf. During the first step of xp installation, at the blue screen, txtsetup.inf runs the sequence of which files to be copied from CD to hard disk. On the contrary, if you remove some xp components (services), these are deleted from txtsetup.inf. I think that wxp.bat is too old to reckon modified XP sources. Oh right, that's why I'm making a new wxp.bat for DP's SATA/RAID driver pack.If you want, I can share them here. Posted by billonious on Jan. 13 2008,16:04
yes, I would like to share it with me!
