I have make a clone of WinXP CD. But when I want to install windows from that CD the drive read it slowly (probably at 4x or 8x) and during installation windows can not read many files from the CD. Finally installation is abortd.I dont underestand the problem. I write the cd at 18x. But when i use other CD's from the market, they install Windows perfectly. Posted by balder on Nov. 16 2009,17:16
@asif27Welcome to this forum asif27 ![]() First of all test ISO in any kind of “Virtual PC” or whatever to make sure it’s working all right before burning to CD ![]() Secondly test creating ISO-file using UltraISO Do as follow: 1. Start UltraISO 2. Copy everything from EasyBoot\disk1 to UltraISO (folder disk1 is the root of EasyBoot) Use loader.bin in folder ezboot as boot file 3. Thanks a lot Mr. Balder.I have a working perfect CD of Win XP. but when i make a copy of it, and verify it. it is ok. but during installation it will give read error. what is the problem, i dont understand. it boots correctly but during copying the windows files to hard disk at about (50% or more) then it will give error.
