Forum: EasyBoot Topic: Hiren cd integration problem ? started by: syncboost Posted by syncboost on Aug. 18 2010,12:22
Hey balder,my new project work smoothly but hiren cd is not working. I have added windows xp live 1.5(done),windows xp(done),Dos utility(done),erd commander(done), acronis true image server(done),hard disk tools(done) ,ms dos(done) and hiren boot cd(extract all files to disk 1 folder and save bif image through ultra iso). But when i tries to run hbcd on ms virtual pc, it didn't run. I also want to add windows 7 to it but the problem is boot folder of win 7 can't extract due to my live cd's boot folder already placed in disk 1 folder. Please help me on this. I also want to know that can win 7 run from disk 1\win7 like folder? And how to convert iso files to wim files? So that i will able to reduce the size of my disk Posted by balder on Aug. 18 2010,14:07
@syncboostQuote: ”hiren cd is not working” Please use my script “easyboot-iso.script” to integrate hiren to EasyBoot You have a separate button for Hiren in script (“Integrate Hiren's BOOT-CD”) ![]() Note: make sure to not use spaces in name to Hiren ISO-file - and no spaces to folder where you keep ISO-file ![]() Quote: “win 7 can't extract due to my live cd's boot folder already placed in disk 1 folder” Solution: Use easyboot-iso.script to integrate “Live-ISO” as it is ![]() Live-system based on NT-6 (Vista, Win-7 and server-2008) can be launched using ISO-file as it is (no need to extract anything) ![]() Note: You don't need to check “Run ISO from RAM" as this kind of ISO is based on NT-6. Only “Live-ISO-files” based on NT-5 (WinXP etcetera that use folder i386) need to be run from RAM ![]() EDIT: Quote: "And how to convert iso files to wim files?" What ISO-files are you referring to in your build? balder Posted by syncboost on Aug. 19 2010,23:37
Hey balder,i have tested hiren cd 10.6 using hiren.img but i saw that it is the other screen containing hard disk tools etc. instead of main screen(which contains mini xp setup, linux setup and other setups). How can i integrate hiren's main boot screen? I have copied windows 7 files to above said project but only one file is replaced i.e. BCD file under boot folder . My windows xp live also has boot folder containing BCD file. How i can integrate windows 7 without removing any file? Please tell me that how to add custom setups to hiren boot cd also? Posted by balder on Aug. 20 2010,04:33
@syncboostQuote: ”How can i integrate hiren's main boot screen?” Use special button in my easyboot-iso.script Note: Put Hiren’s ISO-file in a folder (or on the root) and do not have spaces in name to ISO-file like this: “hiren bootcd 10.6.iso” or where you keep ISO-file (no spaces to folder name where you keep your ISO-file). Use names like this “hiren_bootcd_10.6.iso” Script takes care of everything and you automatically get the right menu command by script and advice how to set checkboxes when creating ISO in EasyBoot. If you use my script above I can guarantee you to get the “main screen” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote: ”My windows xp live also has boot folder containing BCD file.” No “windows xp live” have use for a BCD-file ![]() This must be some kind of “Live-system” built using NT6-system as source and not built using NT5-system as source ![]() If this is the case, you should have at least following files and folders in that ISO: folder boot folder Efi folder Sources And finally a file Bootmgr. If it is such “Live-ISO” that you have extracted this files from, you can easily launch this ISO as it is using my script easyboot-iso.script. No need to extract any files or anything if it is such “Live-ISO") (typically Msdart60 or MsDart65 or “Windows-recovery-7.ISO”) balder Posted by syncboost on Aug. 20 2010,05:58
Thanks balder,Hiren cd is now integrated to my project. I have remove windows 7 because it stop my xp live cd. Instead of windows 7 i have integrated live android and kalibrios to it. But android live stop work and shows that 'error in checksum' and kalibrios stop work and showing that run from ramdisk. Posted by balder on Aug. 20 2010,09:38
@syncboostQuote: ”I have remove windows 7 because it stop my xp live cd” I persist that that you can launch this "Live-builds” using my script easyboot-iso.script ![]() You can launch any Live-ISO based on both NT5 (folder i386 inside ISO) and Live-ISO based on NT6-systems (folder boot, folder Efi, folder Sources, and finally file Bootmg inside ISO). You do not need to extract anything to folder disk1 ![]() I have to come back for issues concerning live android and kalibrios as I’m not 100% familiar with these ones ![]() balder Posted by syncboost on Aug. 20 2010,12:02
Thanks for your support.I have founded your vistape script. I want to make vista pe from vista installation dvd. How can i do this? I also want to know how can i add vista pe to my project ? My project run windows xp live(based on service pack 1) and windows xp pro(service pack 3) easily. They didn't stop each other. I am surprised to see this. Posted by balder on Aug. 20 2010,13:34
@syncboostQuote: ”I also want to know how can i add vista pe to my project ?” Well as soon as you have created (or He, he downloaded) a working Vista/Win-7-PE all you need is to use easyboot-iso.script To integrate NT6-system-PE (Vista/Win-7 is NT6-system) you do not need to check “Run ISO from RAM” in script – in most cases - this is only needed for NT5-systems-PE (folder i386). Note: The “easyboot-Vista\Win-7.script” is only used to integrate Setup-files from Vista or Win7 – this has nothing to do with PE-systems ![]() To create NT6-PE (Vista\Win-7 based Live-PE) start reading < HERE > you have a lot to cache Up I suggest you start with reading pinned Win7RescuePE ---------------------------------------------- To integrate “android.iso” test this: 1. Make a copy of android.iso-file 2. Open this copy of ISO with UltraIso 3. Extract files: System.sqs and Data.sqs to folder disk1 4. Delete files: System.sqs and Data.sqs in ISO (we don’t need them there anymore as we now have extracted files to the “new root” (folder disk1 in EasyBoot) 5. Save this now in size heavily reduced ISO with a nice new name. 6. Use easyboot-iso.script to integrate this small ISO (you don’t need to check “Run ISO from RAM” in script – it works anyway) 7. It’s optional to check “Joliet” and check “Allow lower case” when creating ISO in EasyBoot, as this doesn’t affect how android works. So if you by some other reason (Hiren’s boot-CD for example) need to check “Joliet” and “Allow lower case” be free to do so. To integrate “kolibri.iso” Use easyboot-iso.script to integrate ISO as it is. Check “Run ISO from RAM” when integrating this ISO to EasyBoot. It’s optional to check “Joliet” and check “Allow lower case” when creating ISO in EasyBoot, as this doesn’t affect how “kolibri” works. So if you by some other reason (Hiren’s boot-CD for example) need to check “Joliet” and “Allow lower case” be free to do so balder Posted by syncboost on Aug. 20 2010,23:55
I have follwed your step but nothing will happen at boot screen when i click on android(run ANDO.img) .I have founded that android iso is based on linux and it contain a file isolinux.bin and when i run iso from this image then it show error 'reading checksum'. I doesn't check kalibrios steps but i will check soon Posted by balder on Aug. 21 2010,03:49
@syncboostQuote: ” I have follwed your step but nothing will happen at boot screen when i click on android(run ANDO.img)” In the end when script is close to finish you get a notepad-text like this: Use menu command below! Tip! You can copy text (EasyBoot menu command) below and insert it in EasyBoot menu! ------------------------------------------ memdisk ANDROID.img.gz ------------------------------------------ To continue - please close this Window... Could you please tell me where you have found menu command run ANDO.img Because I can’t find it in the text above ![]() Please use menu command memdisk ANDROID.img.gz Note: If you in script text box change name to let’s say “SUPER-PE” you instead get the recommended menu command: memdisk SUPER-PE.img.gz Balder Posted by syncboost on Aug. 21 2010,11:57
Thanks balder. My project now have winxp pe(done), win xp (service pack 3 done), hiren boot cd(done), dos utility(done), kalibrios(done), android(done), Reactos(done), balder dos(done). I made a iso file of my project through easyboot but i want to convert it to wim file because i want to reduce its size.how can i do that? But i want to add win 7 to it through easyboot iso method , please provide information how can do it ? Posted by balder on Aug. 21 2010,12:33
@ syncboostGreat stuff in your EasyBoot-project ![]() Seems my scripts help you in your EasyBoot-project - correct ![]() Quote: “i want to convert it to wim file because i want to reduce its size.how can i do that?” Short answer – you can’t ![]() Quote: “i want to add win 7 to it through easyboot iso method" What Win-7 are you referring to? Is it installation/setup of full Win-7 OP-system you mean ![]() Note: you can only, at present time, integrate one of these NT6-systems – you can’t have both in your EasyBoot-project ![]() But if it is only Win-7-PE (typically MsDart65) you are trying to integrate to your EasyBoot-project – then use my script easyboot-iso.script to Win-7PE.ISO-file (MsDart65 or whatever your have accessible as PE) balder Posted by syncboost on Aug. 22 2010,12:16
Thanks balder for your support. All the credits of my project to you because you deserve it. Thanks a lot. I want to run my xp pe live from iso. Can it done through easyboot iso script ? I also want to integrate ubuntu, google chorme os and ubcd to my project ? How can i do this ? Please help me. Posted by balder on Aug. 22 2010,14:51
@ syncboostQuote: ”I want to run my xp pe live from iso” Can you describe briefly what’s inside ISO-file? Is there a folder i386 for example? ------------------------------------------------------- Solution to UBUNTU - Read post nr: 2 < HERE > --------------------------------------------------------- For UBCD: I tested to integrate UBCD502.ISO to EasyBoot I used my script easyboot-iso.script without checking “Run ISO from RAM” – did some tests and UBCD-ISO seems to work fine ![]() ------------------------------------------------------------------- About “google chorme os “ I guess you mean “google chrome os” ![]() Note I don’t think I can test this – as it seems to use 64-bit processor ![]() I have to leave that issue to someone that owns a 64-bit processor. balder Posted by syncboost on Aug. 22 2010,23:20
Thanks balder, you are genius, your scripts solves my problem easily. I have integrated my xp pe as iso file through your easyboot iso script. Due to this now i able to windows 7 to my project. I have added win 7 to my project easily because the xp pe is run from iso. Now my project have win xp pe,win xp sp3,hbcd,odin dos, dos utility, kalibrios, android, win 7,acronis tools,ms dos 7,linux live version, erd commander 2005(these are added easily). Now i am working on ubcd, ubuntu, google chrome os,win xp sp3 final(through iso method) and win vista. After suceeding in all of these then i will made a html file containing my project work detail with pictures so that it is helpful to others because i have founded many people whose are in trouble that how to add win7 ,vista, win xp sp 2, win xp sp 3,win xp sp 1 in one dvd. I know my project may resolve most of problems of other. Due to some reasons, i will go to somewhere for 2 & half month after two days so that i am not able to complete my project yet but don't worry i will back on 23 november to post again here and complete my project. Balder, i have used your live xp script to create live xp from window xp sp 2. But after adding source as windows xp sp2 files , i clicked on continue button but the script stop working. Please help me on this. Thanks again for your support balder. Posted by balder on Aug. 23 2010,01:02
@ syncboostQuote: ”you are genius, your scripts solves my problem easily” He, he that’s what I call a nice feedback ![]() Quote: ”Balder, i have used your live xp script to create live xp from window xp sp 2” I may have misunderstood you here ![]() Here is an explanation what script can do (and not do) 1. easyboot-live.script can only integrate a created Live-build to EasyBoot (for example a build from BartPE or Reatogo or ERD-5 or similar that uses folder i386 as source that will say a NT5-system) 2. Script cannot create a Live-XP build by itself – it only integrates a Live-build created from example BartPE. 3. Script cannot integrate a Live-build created using NT6-system (typically Vista, Win-7 or server-2008). However... If you use BartPE (or similar) to create a ”Live-XP-build” using WinXP_sp2 as source (folder i386) then you can use the “bcdw-approach” Read post nr: 35 < HERE > --------------------------------------------------------------- @ syncboost Is it by any chance possible for you to use the “standard” colour to text in this forum ![]() I have some hard times to read your text (light-blue) ![]() Regards balder Posted by navajeevan on Jan. 14 2011,04:49

@navajeevanAs you are a new member to this forum – I say welcome ![]() Quote: “i want to include hirens boot cd 12 “ There are problems with Hiren_v12 - read < HERE > ![]() Please use Hiren_v11 there is no major difference between Hiren_v11 and Hiren_v12 Basically – avoid using Hiren_v12 Quote: “do post the script for hirens only” There is no point only downloading script itself ![]() Script is run in a “script-engine” (WinBuilder.exe). You need the complete download (balder.zip) You have download link below ![]() balder Posted by madar on Jan. 14 2011,10:00
I have downloaded several kinds of hiren boot cd versions 12 and 13.size of downloaded hirens differes from about 350 MB to more than 700 MB. All of them have missed some files and do not work complatelly. I recommended dear users to use hiren version 10. |
