Forum: EasyBoot Topic: Can't boot XP SP3 in multibootable dvd (NEW) started by: xero_fearstreet Posted by xero_fearstreet on Apr. 23 2011,13:09
This question (as usual & again) is posed to the 2 mature members, Balder & Madar...For my previous query, < http://www.ezbsystems.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=3428 > I found a solution (as suggested by Balder), I removed the language packs in Win7 SP1. Now I was successful in creating a multi-bootable DVD, but once again a new problem arose. On booting WinXP SP3, i get an error msg: Line no.1 in /XPS3/txtsetup.inf in invalid. Press any key to exit & restart. Plz help me out. ![]() Posted by balder on Apr. 23 2011,14:12
@xero_fearstreetQuote: ”Line no.1 in /XPS3/txtsetup.inf in invalid. Press any key to exit & restart.” I notice you are using a folder name XPS3 and not original name (I386). If you only have one setup-folder (one WinXP= one NT5-system) there is no need to change name to setup-folder (folder “I386”). Test with not changing folder name (no hex edit) Basically use original folder name I386 with integrated servicepack-3. Okay I know this can be a “long shot” but still worth to try out ![]() Another thing to be careful with is checkboxes for options. Make sure to not check "Optimize" or “DOS(8:3)” or “Joliet” or “Allow Lower Case” just to be "on the safe side" ![]() Regards balder Posted by xero_fearstreet on Apr. 24 2011,03:29
