I have got this program to launch .iso's with no problem, however, I don't seem to be able to just return to the gui without a sys re-boot.Is this there any way to return to the gui after launching an iso without re-booting thanx in advance Posted by balder on Dec. 22 2011,12:07
@|eOs|First of all - welcome to this forum @|eOs| ![]() Quote: "Is this there any way to return to the gui after launching an iso without re-booting" Hmmm... Interesting request - but unfortunately most likely not possible ![]() You can return back to EasyBoot menu if run (launching) DOS floppy disk and if working in 'grub'. Anyway, if you let's say launch ERD5.iso or MsDart60\65 or any linux\isolinux-system like knoppix.iso or similar, then you cannot reach EasyBoot menu without reboot the computer (warm boot) ![]() However in theory it should be possible to launch EasyBoot menu if you rebuild ISO-file in some way - unfortunately not any easy task ![]() So... generally - as far as I know - you cannot go back to EasyBoot menu from launched ISO-file without performing 'warm reboot' ![]() balder Posted by |eOs| on Dec. 22 2011,13:59
Thx for the quick reply. I didn't really think there would be since control is passed to the iso, unless the iso were to be launched inside some sort of "shell"
