Forum: EasyBoot Topic: Easyboot and Win7 updated to 03/10/13 started by: fxart Posted by fxart on Oct. 22 2013,08:05
Hi Balder, sorry again. Only a little question. If I want to launch a Seven Installation updated to 03/10/2013 via Easyboot, what setting I have to set for this: I have copied all the files and folder of the ISO into the disk1 folder and I have try these commands: run bootmgr (not working. Asking for CDBOOT... could'n find bootmgr) run vistaldr.bin [copied into the ezboot folder) = not working. Asking for CDBOOT... could'n find bootmgr) run seven.bif (extracted via ultraiso and copied into ezboot folder) = not working. Asking for CDBOOT... could'n find bootmgr). If I launch the iso via virtualbox works perfectly. There are some bytes to be changed like in the XP setup? If yes, what name I have to find and substitute? I have to rename the ezboot folder into FxART if is possible. If I launch one of your scripts they search for ezboot as default. It is possible to personalize it? When I save the ISO, I have to check, uncheck what settings for Seven? In the same iso there is Knoppix, Partitio Wizard and many others apps. They are working together. Seven not. I have only removed XP and changed it with Seven. I have to make this installation disk for the Seven Setup of any Panel PC. Thanks a lot for your great support. @fxartHello again @fxart ![]() Quote: "and I have try these commands..." If you use menu command: run bootmgr you must have a copy of bootmgr in folder EZBOOT Better up is to use menu command: run /bootmgr this works in your case ![]() The '/' set path to the 'root' in EasyBoot (which is folder disk1) Using run *** is always pointing to the internal 'boot-folder' in EasyBoot, and that folder is the folder EZBOOT Note: you can use subfolders inside folder EZBOOT like this example: run /ezboot/myiso/msadrt60.iso Where 'myiso' is the subfolder inside folder EZBOOT In this way you can make inside of folder EZBOOT look a little bit 'cleaner' (just an idea) Quote: "I have to rename the ezboot folder into FxART if is possible" Yes this is possible but you (or I) must do some changes - not that much - but can most likely be performed AFTER you used script(s) I can show you how when asking ![]() Important! Open each menu (cdmenu.ezb or whatever) and push to 'Save' to make changes from folder name EZBOOT to FxART take place in those menu(s) ![]() Quote: "When I save the ISO, I have to check, uncheck what settings for Seven?" You most likely only need to check 'Joliet' to make those other application to work ![]() Note: 'Joliet' have no influence to setup of Win7 regards balder |
