I am creating a multiboot antivirus disc. The whole folder with all the isos is about 3GB. When easyboot creates my iso it is almost 9GB too big even for a DL DVD. Any thoughts?

@virusbustersWellcome to EasyBoot @virusbusters ![]() Quote: "When easyboot creates my iso it is almost 9GB too big even for a DL DVD" Yes this is not surprising - its a well known fact that EasyBoot (and similar software on the market) having problems creating ISO-files that exceeds 2GB But you still have some options to test out... ![]() Option 1: Use UltraIso to create your build Do it this way: 1. Copy all files and folders from inside of folder 'disk1' to UltraIso 2. Use file 'loader.bin' inside folder EZBOOT as boot-file 3. Experiment with settings in 'properties' starting with 'standard settings'. keep in mind to always have 'Joliet' ticked as it most likely is needed to some of your software (Linux/Knoppix as example) --------------- Option 2. Use 'foreign' software to create your ISO-file still using file 'loader.bin' as boot-file. --------------- Note: I'm heavily occupied for several months with renovating my home residence (just finishing up the kitchen /the hearth of you home so to speaking ![]() Above means I may participate only fragmentary in this forum for a long time ahead ![]() --------------- regards balder |
