Forum: EasyBoot Topic: How to slipstream Windows XP SP2 with EasyBoot started by: xoben Posted by xoben on Aug. 08 2004,04:48
Step1: Copying the Source Files 1. Insert your WindowsXP CD 2. If prompted, do not install Windows XP 3. Copy the entire contents of the CD to c:\easyboot\disk1 Step 2: Download the Service Pack 1. Download the latest Service Pack from Microsoft's web site. This should be one large executable file named WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe. 2. Run the executable with a -x at the end. e.g. "WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe -x" (no quotes) 3. It will first verify the integrity of the file. 4. Then you will be prompted for a location to extract the Service Pack. For the example, use c:\xp_sp2 5. Click on OK when the extraction is complete Step 3: Performing the SlipStream 1. Given the previous examples, go to the c:\xp_sp2\i386\update directory 2. Run: update.exe -integrate:c:\easyboot\disk1 3. When it is finished, you will see the message The Integrated install has completed successfully Step 4: Making a bootable ISO 1. Start EasyBoot 2. Click 'Make ISO', and set options as the following picture: ![]() 3. Click 'Make' to create a bootable ISO 4. Click 'Return' to close the dialog Step 5: Burning the ISO image 1. If you have Nero installed, put a blank CD-R disc to your recorder, and click 'Burn CD' to burn 2. If not, please see a topic here:< http://www.ezbsys.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST&f=2&t=27 > Posted by bR8k3_m3 on Aug. 19 2004,15:29

I slipstreamed SP1 awhile back and went through TEDIOUS EFFORT to figure out how to automatically add in drivers for me NIC and SATA devices as well. I was really dreading figuring out, once again, how to add the additional device drivers to a slipstreamed SP2 WinXP Pro CD. But I ran across nLite at < http://nuhi.msfn.org/ > which makes the entire process very VERY simple. Take a peek...

Hello tintrungI think you are in wrong forum according to this issue of yours. However, here is a couple of links to serve your needs: < http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/#screen > And perhaps even better in your case, this one: < http://www.reatogo.de/ > Note: You need windowsXP with sp2 integrated or Server 2003 to make it work. eureka Posted by softwareE on Feb. 19 2007,13:56
