Thanks Incroyable HULK for the ISO and testing result.
Some questions: 1) What's the meaning of '64K Colors will render as 256 Colors'? 2) Some bugs with abnormal length of scanline have been fixed at latest version EasyBoot, please grab it from http://www.ezbsystems.com/dl.php?file=ezb5_en.exe and test again. PS: All menu files (.ezb) should be saved at least once to invoke the new booting core.

Hello Xoben,
1- What happens is that when I load a page in any resolution using 64K colors background (saved from FireWorks in 24-Bits BMP) it will render in 256 Colors on the screen. Insteed of a fuild color shift, I get a "stair" effect in my gradient box... I think this is a limitation from most of the Video Card.
2- I will recompile the ISO using your latest version and I will correct the results. I have an "open" bench at work wich allow me to test a bunch of video card

This is not a problem of video cards, it is due to color-down conversion from 24bits to 16bits. Please do as following: 1) Setup ACDSee 7.0 PowerPack 2) Open your 24bits image by ACD Photo Editor 3) Choose 'Adjust'->'Color Depth'->'HiColor(16bits)' 4) Save the image This will get more perfect visual effect.

Sorry, my mistake... I am not too familiar with FireWorks but it should be OK right now.
I'll do some further testing
If it doesn't work properly, I'll try ACDSee
EDIT: it seems better now but I'll try to convert to "pure" 16-Bits from ACDSee tomorow... (my X800 is still scrambling some color... what a shame for such an expensive card)
