I've redone all my menus in 1024x768 65k colors. I'm in the process of adding back in my old 640x480 256 color menus as a fallback just in case I run into a machine that does not support the 1024x768x65K colors.
I was thinking that it might be really cool to have a "hotkey" that could be pressed while the boot loader is loading to force the system to fallback to the lower graphics. This would make it easier for testing.
I know that I can simply change my main menu to the default.ezb and reburn it but since my DVD is several GB in size it takes a while to reburn an ISO for testing.
It would be awesome if you could just press a key to force the system to use default.ezb at startup!

I was thinking to build my project with a similar "fallback" solution. I am using 1024x768x24Bits setup and if I have a white background, I can write some text over the white portion with EasyBoot (in white) so if something goes wrong, EasyBoot will put a black background and my white text will show...

My suggestion is using VMWare to test your multi-boot menu before burn.

I do test with Vmware but as it stands I have to recreate the ISO all over again to test with VMware. I just thought it would be nice to have a hotkey to force use of the default.ezb.
Currently I worked around by adding a key combination to the main menu that calls the default.ezb. After testing I can remove that shortcut and rebuild the ISO again.
