Hello,
I created a multiboot DVD with Win XP PRO SP2 eng and greek...
I want to add 2 more installations for unattended setup for those two..
Do I have to replicate the same (major size) files or I can use some trick in order to have the same files one time and use them from the normal installation or the unattended...?

Hello agorts
I have earlier explained how to cover different unattended installs (using same XP folders).
Maybe this could be to some help…
Note: I refer here to ”Second Part” in this topic. http://forum.ezbsystems.net/cgi-bin....1;t=430

OK I see...
Can you tell me what are the final contents of cd?
In your directions you start from an empty disk or assume I have completed the directions of the help (multiboot or single cd)?
Can you please clarify - explain the hole procedure?
I know that in the disk except from i386 foilder must some other files...
Thank you again for your help...

“I know that in the disk except from i386 folder must some other files...” The only major difference is that you need winnt.sif (placed inside i386) to make unattended to run.
“I created a multiboot DVD with Win XP PRO SP2 eng and greek...” Am I correct that you have already hex edit SETUPLDR.BIN and boot file (xxxx.bin) to make your multi-install-DVD to run in a smooth way? You can hex edit same files to serve your needs according to different unattended installs (using different winnt.sif).
In your case I suggest that you start with your well running “XP PRO SP2 eng”.
1. Make a copy of SETUPLDR.BIN from “XP PRO SP2 eng” (place this copy in some temp folder) Note: you have already hex edit this file, but you need to make more adjustments in this file. 2. Rename this copy of SETUPLDR.BIN to SETUPLD1.BIN 3. Hex edit SETUPLD1.BIN to point to winn1.sif instead of originally winnt.sif 4. Make a copy of “boot file” (xxxx.bin?) that you now start the setup of “XP PRO SP2 eng”. Place this “boot file” in same temp folder and rename “boot file” to different name like autosetup.bin (or whatever). Note: you have already hex edit this file, but you need to make one more adjustment in this file. 5. Hex edit this “autosetup.bin “ to point to SETUPLD1.BIN instead of original SETUPLDR.BIN that you now use when starting your “normal” setup. 6. Create winnt.sif file to run WinXP (“XP PRO SP2 eng”) installation in the way you want. 7. Rename winnt.sif to winn1.sif 8. Move or copy winn1.sif and SETUPLD1.BIN to i386 (“XP PRO SP2 eng”) folder. Move or copy autosetup.bin to EasyBoot\disk1\ezboot. 9. In EasyBoot create one more setup command, and as usual use: run autosetup.bin to start this different setup of “XP PRO SP2 eng” (now running setup using winn1.sif file). 10. That’s it!
Note: You may use more than one unattended install using winnt.sif. That means you have to use several SETUPLDR.BIN files and several boot files, and of course, several different winnt.sif files.
Hope I haven’t mixed up my English too much…

Great ... thanks!
One question ...
Both win xp pro sp2 (greek and eng) have an i386 folder...
Can I rename the I386 folder in XPPG and XPPE...?
I try it... rename it and of-course change the "setupxxx.bin" in order to point to the new folder instead of "I386"... When starting the setup, reboots the vm...
Any ideas...?

Hi agorts!
”Can I rename the I386 folder in XPPG and XPPE...?”. I thought you already have fixed this: ” I created a multiboot DVD with Win XP PRO SP2 eng and greek...”
However it’s possible, but it needs a lot of “work around” to achieve this. I fact, I personally find this issue not worth to do, comparing to what I may win. However you have to read instructions (and discussion) in this topic to solve this problem of yours. http://forum.ezbsystems.net/cgi-bin....1;t=160
Or from this topic: http://forum.ezbsystems.net/cgi-bin....1;t=452

OK I know...
I did what you (and the help file of EasyBoot) instracts.. The only diff is that I use the winXPSP2 Pro cd instead of SP1 and the folder name is "XPPE" (in case)...
but when I run the setup and after the first reboot ask from the user to insert the win XP Pro SP2 cd a lot of times...
So I must change some other file also...
Any idea?

Agorts please check that you have “win51ip” and “win51ip.sp2” on the root (EasyBoot\disk1)
If using XPsp1 you instead need win51.sp1
