Hi I've tried to attache DSLinux to my multiboot cd. I've made dsl.bif file and to run it I've written command 'bootinfotable;run dsl.bif'. Linux starts correctly but after several seconds I see "Can't find KNOPPIX file system". Using in Vmware normal dsl.iso there isn't this problem. Can anyone help me???

QUOTE I have same problem! please help me! It is ever the same problem: nearly all the users of EasyBoot do not deeply know (as for me) the different booting processes of the various original boot disk that they want to join together, so they search for usefull informations through the Forum. But do they find such informations? Are there other users that see the posts and give an answer? When - with a "try and error" method - they finally (and luckily) find the solution, generally do not post it!
The real, basic problem is the lack of a complete help system (or a real Tutorial) in EasyBoot; but the hope to have it is weak.
On this argument I wrote a P.M. to xoben; but the answer was:
(xoben @ Sep. 21 2006,14:22)
QUOTE Sorry, this kind of material is not available yet.Regards Xoben (argon70cv @ Sep. 21 2006,10:38)
QUOTE In a recent topic I wrote:
Can xoben give a complete basic explanation about the main different boot systems, mainly the ISOLINUX-based ones (like Acronis; command "bootinfotable;run ti.bif"); the other with an i386 directory, like Win XP and Ghost 10 (command "run w2ksect.bin"), and so on?? Can EasyBoot help file be integrated with the numerous, useful news and details that arise from the Forum, but are too difficult to be completely found and collected?
So, can the EasyBoot customers have such a file? Thank you in advance!
In all the answers given in the Forum by xoben to these problems, he reveals the he (or the EasyBoot staff) has the knowledge of all the needed fundamentals.
Is it too difficult to have, at last, the availability of such a manual??

Try Compiling the ISO with joliet. Check the Joliet Box before you Make the ISO. or go into ultraISO open the ISO you made from Easyboot. then goto file Properties and make sure that media says "703mb/80min", under cd file system "joliet" is checked, under ISO 9660 filename format "omit ISO 9660 version number" is checked and "max(221)" is checked, and under joilet filename format "Extended(110) is checked.

I don't think xoben should write such material, mainly because he's only responsible for the development of EasyBoot &co, and not for the way people are using it.
Of course the users need that information - but that's what this forum is for. I don't know DSL specifically, but I've handled other Knoppix-based Linux versions, and I can tell you that (a) it's very unlikely that any Knoppix ripoff work differently, and (b) Knoppix booting is heavily docummented on this forum.
The purpose of EasyBoot is to be a (great) tool for people who know how to use it, not for egomaniacs who want to have a boot CD with their name written on the boot menu. Few of you ever bought EasyBoot, btw, but none of you bought (at least, not from EZB Systems) a course in system booting. Asking for one, free of charge, is somewhat idiotic. EasyBoot is a program, not information - you pay for it, not for information on how to use it. If you don't know how to use it, just keep away from it.
Come one, people, stop being jerks, and start searching the forum. Or, if you're too lazy to do that, just download readily-madeCDs from torrents or eMule.

Lisa,
I don't know how you make your living. As for me, the product is worth its weight in GOLD. I have been able to create multiple boot CD/DVD's for my sysads and that has saved my company HUNDREDS of hours in build times. And, no, I have NOT billed my company for the cost of the software.
Now that's out of my system, I do realize that this is a 'pay for play' piece of software. And that being said, I do agree with you that there should be some sort of 'manual' for it. However, unless 'xoben' is Bill Gates or someone else from the Forbes list, I don't expect a manual. Would be nice, though...
