Forum: EasyBoot Topic: No background image on certain computers started by: MauriceHoeneveld Posted by MauriceHoeneveld on Sep. 17 2004,14:03
I did create some bootable cdroms but experience the following problem. The background image is a 640x480 8bit bitmap and is made with Adobe Photoshop. To be sure I also converted the source image with ACDsee. Most systems show the background image perfectly but I experienced on some newer systems like the HP D530 the background remains black. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks for your help in advance Maurice Hoeneveld Posted by xoben on Sep. 17 2004,19:57
Some video card does not support 640x480x8bit mode, EasyBoot will try to load default.ezb if the 'Enable default menu' option is checked. Otherwise, EB will swicth to standard VGA 16 color mode automatically and the background image in 256 color disappears.
