Forum: EasyBoot Topic: A Possible bug? started by: Oxtie Posted by Oxtie on Dec. 01 2004,12:25
First of all, COOL! New release!!!!!. Next, I kept very few drivers under MS-Dos's config.sys\himem.sys \vide-cdd.sys \xmsdsk R: 199606 dos=high, umb Next, I try win.com command to execute the Win98 OS. I load it successfully. I come back to MS-Dos mode using it's shutdown menu. run wboot (provided in resourses folder) Next, I get choices Windows XP || Windows 98. I choose WinXP. Now I hibernate and Start PC... Result? can't get out of hibernation!!!! Possible causes: EasyBoot did not clear memory completely after a menu command was pressed. Some kind of "particle" got resident in memory. I might be crazy but did I find a bug here? ![]() Posted by xoben on Dec. 01 2004,20:07
Yes, wboot.com does not clear system memory. You can try reboot.com, which should work.
