The 4GB limit is due to windows setup program. Suggestion: rename 'SOFTWARE' to 'XSOFTWARE', rebuild the ISO and try it out again. Posted by still nothing do... on Jan. 14 2005,11:36
first, thanks for your reply. i have done what you write....rename some unnecessary folder (SOFT tu XSOFT) and make iso image...at first without optimalization (5531MB) and then with optimalization (4.3G).In virtual pc after mount (with Daemon tool) still not install. Longhorn pause on this report: "Setup is inspecting your computers hardware configuration"...but it is stupidity ,i think, because HW is OK and File structure of DVD is also OK and also when i delete some unnecessary folders (dvd under 4G) all working fine...I am already thereout enough unhappy. ![]() Posted by neo35 on Jan. 14 2005,11:53

Probably kinda obvious to you but, have you tried booting it properly, ie.without PC emulator, maybe thats causing the 4g Limit, dunno ,, Dunno:: I think I just smoke to much!!!!!! Posted by i dont think that is 4g limit of on Jan. 15 2005,05:44
thank very much for your reply.why emulator??...why, all other operating systems boot and install corectly and longhorn 4074 no (windows pe stop)when DVD iso is over 4G ![]() Posted by Incroyable HULK on Jan. 15 2005,09:29
Have you tried to mount your ISO image in some utility like Nero ImageDrive or Daemon Tools and then use this drive in your simulator? I know that Virtual PC is having problems with ISO file over 2GB and this is the workaround... Posted by yes i write this in my first... on Jan. 16 2005,15:56
yes i allways mount images with daemon tools (it is best utility that i know).....but i "solve" my problem...i have on dvd some SW in folder XSOFT...i compres all with zip (windows suport zip in basic configuration) and delete some unneedet SW...and my dvd now work fine (but under 4G)......THANKS ALL FOR YOUR REPLY....
