Topic: backtrack3 problem...

i have created a dvd multiboot with:1) acronis true image 9.1
2) acronis true image 11
3) xp live-cd by mikicun2 (more more software very nice)
4) xp live-cd bartPE
5) ophcrack
6) offline nt password
7) various dos and windows boot (dos 6.22,win98/se/me)
8) ERD commander 2005
9) cd install for XP black edition
10) ubuntu 7.1
11) hiren's cd 9.4
12) backtrack 3
13) 2 gb portable software under winpenpack
14) office 2003 installer
15) more software and utility
.... total = 7.1 GB DVD
All works good but:
1) backtrack start ok but in the middle of execution show the message: "BT3 data non found" etc etc etc.....
i have renamed the directory "boot" = "BACK"...
I have tested backtrack3 under easyboot with copy all files Untouched but the problem remains...
i test my cd/dvd with virtualbox, if i launch directly the original backtrack3.iso image with virtualbox it works fine but under easyboot i have the problem
2) same problem with hiren's cdboot: start ok but in the middle of execution show the message: "bootcd files not found"
Do you have any suggestions?
N.B. if my dvd is largest of 7.1 gb i have problem with start xp bartpe by mikicun2... why?

Someone has ever mounted hiren's cdboot or backtrack distro?

For Hiren's, just put xxx.iso in c:\easyboot\disk1\ezboot , and use 'bcdw /ezboot/xxx.iso' to load.

thanks...I have already done but when i launch a program, hiren's open a window with all driver for cdrom...
i have tested all driver without result (cdrom not found!!!!),
at the end hiren's show me the message:
!!bootcd files were not found!!
I have also tried to copy all files in the disk1 directory and launch hiren's with "run hiren.bif" (extracted from the original cd hiren's 9.4)... start ok but same problem!!!
I have also tried with other version of hiren's...
Nothing to do

backtrack is slax based.

HI,I have done some testing those days and I had the exact same problem with Hiren's (9.3 or 9.4): something about cdrom not found.
I'm using VMware for testing purpose and thought that maybe the virtual CD was the issue.
After burning the CD everything worked perfectly...

eureka!!! one problem solved for hiren's cd!!!

hiren's cd not work under vmware, virtualbox etc...
for hiren's under easyboot i have extracted the boot files from version 8.8 (work perfectly for hiren's 9.4)
Remains the problem for backtrack 3 (backtrack one working properly)
