I specify a main menu, enter a password on the file tab, then click on the P; I then click Save, then Create ISO, which I test as a virtual machine. I do NOT get a password prompt before being presented with the main menu. My main menu is called default.ezb and in options, the use default menu is turned on (this by the way, is absolutely required for the count down time out to work - not documented).
When will the password feature work? Don't say it does - it doesn't. I have a two line menu - menu is called default.ezb. I'd be happy to post it here if required.

Please test it this way: 1) Reinstall EasyBoot 2) Start EasyBoot 3) Do not change anything, redo Quote | enter a password on the file tab, then click on the P; I then click Save, then Create ISO, then I test as a virtual machine. |
