Hi Everyone, I am new to creating bootable CD's and or Dvd Media. I am trying to create a Bootable Cd for my Dad so he does not have to carry around tons of cd's all over the place anymore. My first Question of the evening is .. How do I set the path for the menu options once i have a menu created? I have that is pretty basic, but from here and trying to set the paths I am lost. I also would like to know how I incorporate a sub menu into it also, any help and suggestions are great.. Thanks

No need to set any options, EasyBoot always puts them under \disk1\ezboot folder.

Use 'run xxx.ezb' to load (xxx.ezb is the sub menu file)

I just tried to do the sub menu run command and it is not working, I am using Virtual Pc to test it, I have mouse and the screen is right, but no options besides the reboot i have(which works) Â I need to figure out how to load different files like i have a diagnostics option and a Bios Flash option, I can't figure out how to get the right file made to open this correctly so they will work, any suggestions? Â if you need ill include a screen shot of the easy boot command i typed maybe you can find out what is going on.http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/9955/easybootproblems10kk.jpg

The filename must be in DOS 8.3 format, such as submenu.ezb; the command should not be included in ''.

I have tried to get this menu to work with the 's and without them. I can't figure out how to get a dos format floppy to work and boot correctly when that option is choose on themenu. I downloaded Virtual PC to help me test this stuff out. I got the reboot menu to work and that is about it. I cannot figure out how to get the diagnostics.exe dos file to work. I also cannot figure out how to get the submenu to work unless i am typing something wrong. I can take another picture that shows all the files that were on the floppy disk until i put them on my hard drive in a folder, if you need it for a better description.
