after about a week of playing around with easy boot its fair to say its the best software available for creating boot cd's/dvd's. I applaud the developers for their hard work, although it states "easy boot" i cant really say that it is.
After managing to load files into the systems memory (actually running a copy of xp pro) when trying to get through the part before partitioning it states it cannot find or cannot locate the eula Licence agreement.
Does anybody here know how i can fix this? I have followed the guide that came with the software about 100 times!

You have most likely forgot to make necessary changes in txtsetup.sif
Search for SetupSourcePath in txtsetup.sif  and change it from “\” to "\ xpen\" (if using xpen as boot-folder).

it didnt work 
do you think it is because the folder XPS2 is the i386 folder? or is this correct... it works so far...

It doesn’t matter what name you use (I mentioned “xpen” as this is used in “Practical guide” in EasyBoot).
Attention: You have to make changes to txtsetup.sif in folder “XPS2” (“XPS2” seems to be the name you chosen to be your boot-folder). It’s not txtsetup.sif in folder i386 that we are interested of. Only txtsetup.sif in “XPS2”!!!
Any way… is it working so far or what?

im not sure what you mean by It’s not txtsetup.sif in folder i386 that we are interested of. Only txtsetup.sif in “XPS2”!!!
i have placed all of the files from the i386 folder in the XPS2 folder, im not sure if i need the whole cd copied into XPS2 and then somehow redirect the installation to the i386 folder in that???
ive followed this guide:
Here is a step by step instruction for adding Windows XP (English version):
1) Make a folder named 'xpen' under 'c:\easyboot\disk1'
2) Copy 'win51' and 'win51p' (from root directory of original CD) to 'c:\easyboot\disk1'
3) Copy I386 folder to 'c:\easyboot\disk1\xpen'
4) Copy wxp.bat from 'c:\easyboot\resource' to 'c:\easyboot\disk1\xpen', and run it there
5) Copy w2ksect.bin in 'c:\easyboot\disk1\ezboot' to a new file xpen.bin
6) Start EasyBoot, click 'Tools'->'Replace Text', browse file 'c:\easyboot\disk1\ezboot\xpen.bin', and specify 'I386' as "Text to Replace", 'XPEN' as "Replace to", then click 'Replace', 1 occurence should be replaced
7) Do step 6 to 'c:\easyboot\disk1\xpen\setupldr.bin', and replace 'i386' to 'xpen', 4 occurences should be replaced
8) Open 'c:\easyboot\disk1\xpen\txtsetup.sif' by NotePad (or UltraEdit), search for 'SetupSourcePath', and change [SetupSourcePath = "\"] to [SetupSourcePath = "\XPEN"] (not include [])
9) Set the menu item's command as 'run xpen.bin'
10) Save menu file
from the main help file. the problem is it isnt clear enough.
caould you explain how you create your disks and ill follow your guide.

You have done right there! But just to bee sure. Use this in textsetup.sif “\xpen\”
I have tested leaving out neccecary changes in txtsetup.sif. And yes, result is error message according to “eula”.
Do you use unattended setup (winnt.sif file in xpen folder)? If that’s the case, test deleting winnt.sif when making ISO.

i have tried what you have said but it hasnt worked yet. this leaves a puzzle for all...
got any more ideas? thanx, wedge554.

i have also tried windows 2000 and that has the same problem. i deleted the text string that tells the bootloader to include the eula agreement but it said it could not find the file? but that leaves us with the same problem again, it originally cant find it.
THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!?

Please check that “eula.txt” is in i386-folder. Sometimes files get lost when copying…

eureka, ive fixed the problem!
basically, i had only copied the i386 directory to the folder directory of the disk.
ill create some instructions so that nobody else has any problems.. phew. i just hope it installs alright now!!!
PS, the instructions that come with the software are ONLY HALF OF WHAT IS NEEDED TO CREATE A DISK, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
