I'm getting the following when trying to load W2K3:
Please insert the disk labeled
Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition CD-ROM
into Drive A:
* Press ENTER when ready.
This message comes up after the normal 'Windows Setup' screen asks you to hit F6 for additional drivers.
Below is the boot menu I'm running. All other items run on this DVD except Server 2003.
Here's the file structure I've got:
disk1 |- BART |- Documents and Settings |- ezboot |- i386 |- Programs |- Utilities |- W2K3 |- XPSP
Some notes: 1) I've got the i386 directory for ERD 2005 because it's the only way I've found that it will run properly; 2) Docs & Settings and Programs are for Barts and ERD; 3) Utilities has a bunch of Windows programs stuffed in there once you've got a system built
For the W2K3 directory I've copied the i386 directory to it, copied the w2003.bat file to the W2K3 directory and ran it, modified the txtsetup.sif file to reflect "/W2K3", and made the changes to the W2K3.bin and setupldr.bin files.
Boot Menu:
[1] Run Ghost Network Boot [2] Run Petter Nordahl [3] Run Bart PE 3.1.10a [4] Run ERD Commander 2005 [5] Load XP Pro VLK w/SP2 [6] Load Server 2003 w/SP1 [7] Run HiRen for DOS [Q] Boot from Hard Drive [R] Reboot
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance.

As xoben already pointed out: You have forgot some files…
You don’t have necessary ident-files on the root. Example showing server-2003
disk1 |- BART |- Documents and Settings |- i386 (this is folder server-2003) |-Win51 |-Win51ia |-Win51ia.sp1 (only if you have service pack 1 slipstreamed to source)
Read here about “primary root” and “second root”: http://forum.ezbsystems.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=1188
Note: It’s okay to use ident-files with same name to different system-folders. But in your case, you need more ident-files (with different names) because you have more than just server-2003 on the root. Â

Eureka,
I do have all the ident files in disk1 as well as the W2K3 directories. I read the 'primay/secondary' post and have followed that.
My W2K3 directory has the i386 directory within it. I modified the SETUPLDR.BIN and TEXTSETUP.SIF files in the W2K3 directory but not the W2K3\i386 folder. Is this correct? Or do I have to perform this in the W2K3\i386 directory as well? The reason is because I'm now getting an error in VM Ware of: NTLDR is corrupt. The system cannot boot.
Any advice? Thanks!

Sorry I misunderstood you. Â We are talking about 2003-server. Correct? If so, read here: http://forum.ezbsystems.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=923 Â You need a hacked setupldr.bin-file. Download from here: http://www.encoremedias.com/MSFN/setupldr.bin Use this one instead of original in folder W2K3
Then do this:
Use EasyBoot >> Tools >> Replace Text… >> Find file >> setupldr.bin in folder W2K3 In “Text to find” you put in “i386” (no quotes and note: i386 not I386) and in “Replace with” you put in “W2K3 ” (no quotes) push “Replace”. Five text strings should be replaced if you have done right! Attention: use uppercase (CAPS
Again use EasyBoot >> Tools >> Replace Text… >> Find file >> setupldr.bin in folder W2K3 In “Text to find” you put in “I386” (no quotes and note this time you use: I386 not i386) and in “Replace with” you put in “W2K3” (no quotes) push “Replace”. Two text strings should be replaced if you have done right!
As you can notice, there are two different text lines that needs to be changed (i386 and I386). This is only possible if using a hacked setupldr.bin-file
Attention: If you used w2003.bat from EasyBoot/resource to copy boot-files from i386-folder to W2K3, there might be more troubles coming on. If files are missing later on (running setup) – please inject following lines to w2003.bat and run it again to get the complete set of files:
AMDIDE.sy_ ARC.sy_ Hpcisss.sy_
(Copy lines and inject them to w2003.bat)

I'll give that link for Hex-hacking a whirl and let you know.
Thanks for the quick response!

I have just tested my suggestion and it run well  (tested on Server 2003, Enterprise Edition).
Note: Be sure to download a new hacked setupldr.bin each time you are testing (doing that hex-edit thing). I don’t think you can “undo” what you have hex-edit in setupldr.bin-file. Only w2ksect.bin can be hex-edit back to another 4-digital name of your own choice.

1. Create W2K3 directory 2. Copy i386 directory from CD to W2K3 3. Copy ident files from CD to both W2K3 and disk1 directories 4. 'Hex-hack' the setupldr.bin 5. Replace I386 and i386
And whaddaya know...it worked.
Don't know where the downfall was but I REALLY appreciate your help, Eureka!
THANKS!
