How can I return after ending a DOS Prog to EasyBoot. Now I have to restart the system. I use FreeDOS for my DOS Apps. Maybe appending something to the autoexec.bat? Any Idea?

If you don't have the latest version you need to download and install it.

The feature is already in the latest version of EZBoot.

OK!! It works in VM Ware but not on my real PC. Whats wrong?
Ive added ezboot.com as last step into my autoexec.bat that handles my Application and inserted both into my .ima file.
On VM everything work fine. On PC it stops with the line:  a:\ezboot.com  and some text.
Are some PCs not able to return? But my friend has the same Problem on his PC.

Now ive tried directly making an iso with easyboot, show boot directorys and without joliet, DOS8.3 disabeld - no change. The PC hangs with the DOS-  line: Easyboot 5,09 etc...  on Screen and I have to reboot.
How does the ezboot.com work? Maybe something in the bios ( bootorder ... )?

Hello wixfigur, please make sure that no EMM386 was loaded before calling ezboot.com .

The autoexec.bat inside the .ima´s are very silple. Only like this:

QUOTE
mouse.com
application.exe
ezboot.com

Now I found out, that it works at my PC at work. The difference between this 2 workstations:

Home PC: 2 DVD built in, modern AMD dualcore system
Work PC: 1 DVD, old P3 system

VM Ware ( where it also works ) has also only one CD drive.

maybe ezboot.com searches for the first available CD drive or cannot decide between 2 of that?
Can you explain the function of ezboot.com?
