Running Win XP sp2 -
Have installed Damontools 408 1st then installed Softdisc 301.312.
1. I have mounted and loaded 2 separate games using images I made from Alcohol 120.
2. At Windows start-up both games load up automatically as though the CD's were put in drives. How do I stop this from happening. Previously had these same games loaded with older versions of Softdisc & Damontools on Windows ME. This worked great and would only open when I would click on the game icon and never loaded auto at startup.
Also now on XP I keep exiting the Dtools and it will ask if I wish to keep running emulation, click yes and sys-tray icon goes away as I want. At Windows restart it loads again icon is back and both games start up. I have unchecked AUTOSTART in both Softdisc and Dtools. Â
3. Do I need both Softdisc & Dtools to run virtual load mounted drives for games that I already have images made for and mounted to drive. Â Â 4. If no which one would work by itself to open and run mounted game and not start game automatically.
Thanks for any help you can offer. Eric

1) For Daemon-Tools 4.08, please uncheck 'Secure Mode' and 'Automount' by D-Tools itself
2) You can use Daemon-Tools itself to mount and emulate games.
