I like the password boot protection, but are there any plans to implement the option to add custom text?

It would be really nice to add the words "If found, please return to the IT department" or something.

I don't know about the custom text for password protection but in the past I used the logo image and have it display for about 5 secs for the "If found, please return to the IT department" but only on our Main Menu and not our sub menus.

Good suggestion, but I don't want them to be able to boot it at all.  In case it gets left in a user's PC, I don't want it to get to the boot menu at all.  It just would be nice to be able to put a few sentences along with the password prompt.

I don't know if this will work but you could try it.

1. Create a disk iso with easyboot with whatever utilities and/or installers on it.
2. Start a new disk iso in easyboot with just your custom message and one menu item.
3. Use that menu item to load up the first iso with bcdw or similar.
4. Add a password to the above menu item on the menu tab.
5. On the File tab check the box "WaitTime" with specified number of seconds but with "no password"

Let us know if that works or if something similar works for you.

PS. you may want to add an autorun file to the root of the cd with something like this in it:

[autorun]
ShellExecute=http://webserver/returncd
Icon=ghost\ghost.ico

What it does for us is take them to a specified url if the try to open the cd after booting up allowing your message to be seen online as well.
