Hello again machinakias
This has nothing to do with that you have deleted bootfix.bin in folder i386 – just to clarify…
If you have checked ”Show Progress Bar” and have put in parameters (look below) there should be a progress bar (you can modify colours as you please).
Upper Left Row: 400 Â Â Â Col: 100
Lower Right Row: 410 Â Â Â Col: 500
If no progress bar shows up - some things must been screwed up in some way I guess it’s time for reinstall EasyBoot. Save (back up) your “unique” files of yours in EasyBoot before reinstall Easyboot.

Hello machinakias
Quote: “by erasing the bootfix.bin in greek xp made no harm but in english broke my installation”
If you open w2ksect.bin with a hex editor you find in the end this text lines (path): SETUPLDR.BINBOOTFIX.BINI386 Simple explanation: w2ksect.bin try to start/execute “mini-op-system” in SETUPLDR.BIN  w2ksect.bin also try to execute BOOTFIX.BIN if present. If w2ksect.bin can’t find BOOTFIX.BIN it doesn’t care. Path to these two files is in the end of text line “I386”. It’s this last one (I386) we sometimes needs to change to something else with four characters.
So delete BOOTFIX.BIN doesn’t matter at all. It must be something else you did when modifying your built.
Anyway, this progress bar problem drives me nuts  I can’t understand why you have this problem. I’m so frustrated on my self so I have to take a cup of tea to slow down  I think I’m flipping out

It’s difficult to sort out this strange behaviour from EasyBoot However check these parameters:
1. Make sure “MenuType” is set to “Main Menu” 2. Check also “Wait Time” and set time to 10 (10 seconds) 3. In “Misc” make sure “Show Progress Bar” is checked
In “Misc” set also:
Upper Left Row: 100 Col: 25
Lower Right Row: 110 Col: 300
AND for colour set:
Back: yellow
Fore: Light red
Edge: Light grey
--------------------------------------
Test and see if it works
