Hi.
When writing disc image to USB stick, it is possible to check the box "Create Boot Partition." As far as I understand it will allocate the needed space for the image on the USB stick and create a "hidden" partition that will be booted from.
So, I was wondering if it will always work of if any of the methods of adding bootable items will not run from the hidden partition? Or are there any other complications?
Thanks.

Well first of all, what I can understand you do not have any problems with booting USB devices (USB stick or USB hard drive), if using the given 'standard boot method' (USB-HDD+) - correct?
But I think you are right that some 'software' can have problem to work correctly if checking 'Deep Hidden'
Quote: "Or are there any other complications?" Well you can only use 'Deep Hidden' if setting 'Write Method' to 'USB-HDD+v2' and 'USB-ZIP+v2' But this really shouldn't create problems to boot USB device - but no guaranties
Note: there are some odd motherboards (or shall we say - odd BIOS) that have problems and need 'special treatment'. You may need to use 'USB-ZIP' instead of the standard Method 'USB-HDD+' as some motherboards treats USB devices as ZIP-floppy or whatever. In my opinion, it's those BIOS manufactures that is the problem rather than the motherboard manufactures
Anyway... It is an interesting option that 'Deep Hidden' check box, as you can't see what's on USB device and it still bootable and have 'utilities' etcetera in place. And in combination with checking 'Password' in EasyBoot, you have a bootable USB device that only you can use
