Is it possible using EasyBoot to have two linux distros, both with their own casper folders, on the same USB build? Â I noticed in various examples, the casper folder must be copied to the disk1 (root) folder. Â This of course creates a problem when you desire to run more than one distro that contains casper folders. Â Well for me at least. Â I may just be too dumb to figure it out.
Balder do you know of any way to do this?
Thanks in advance!

Yes this is a common problem... However, in several occasions it's possible to launch and run ISO-file as it is (avoiding extracting any folder to folder disk1)
What specific ISO-file(s) are we dealing with here Perhaps I can find a solution by simply launch and run at least one of the ISO-files - leaving space to extract folder 'casper' to folder disk1

The two distros are DEFT Linux 7.2 (Deft7.2.iso) [LINK] and Backtrack 5 R3 (BT5R3-GNOME-32.iso) [LINK].
Thanks, Balder!

Whow!!! This took a lot of time and efforts After a long series of testing I found these solutions:
Solution to DEFT7.2.ISO Method is generally known as: "Try without installing" (run as a 'Live-system') Note: DEFT7.2 is a Lubuntu system
1. Download my 'kicker-image' DEFT7.img from HERE
2. Put 'kicker-image' in folder EZBOOT and use menu command: run DEFT7.img
3. Copy DEFT7.2.ISO-file to folder 'disk1' (folder 'disk1' is the root in EasyBoot if you wonder)
4. Rename ISO-file to exactly: Â DEFT7.ISO Â (you must use uppercase=BIG LETTERS to file name)
5. Tick 'Joliet' when creating ISO in EasyBoot
Note: this also work from USB drive
--------------------------------
Solution to BT5R3-GNOME-32.ISO-file It should be possible to launch this ISO in same way as solution given above, but for some reason I cannot figure out, it doesn't work However here we can use the 'frugal solution' as folder name 'casper' isn't ocuppied on the root of Easyboot (folder disk1)
1. Open BT5R3-GNOME-32.ISO (I used UltraIso) and extract folder 'casper' to folder 'disk1' (folder 'disk1' is the root in EasyBoot if you wonder)
2. Still having ISO opened in UltraIso you open folder 'casper' and delete file 'filesystem.squashfs' (it is no point having this gigantic file left inside ISO-file any longer, as we now have folder 'casper' on the root of EasyBoot) - save changes to ISO-file (use 'Save As') and save modified ISO to folder EZBOOT using name: BT5R3-GNOME-32.ISO Note: ISO-file is now heavily reduced in size
3. Use menu command in EasyBoot menu: Â run BT5R3-GNOME-32.ISO
4. Tick 'Joliet' when creating ISO in EasyBoot
Note: this also work from USB drive
Regards balder
