What method did you use to launch XP-winpe
Examples:
Method 1. (standard procedure when run from CD\DVD-unit) Copy (or extracted from ISO) files and folders to folder disk1 and use menu command in easyboot menu: Â run W2KSECT.BIN Note: check that file W2KSECT.BIN is in folder EZBOOT - file should be there And only tick 'Joliet' when creating ISO in EasyBoot
Method 2. (by me recommended method works from CD\DVD and also USB drive) Use my script 'easyboot-iso.script' and use XP-winpe ISO-file as it is (not extracting any files or folders - use ISO-file instead) Note: you cannot simply copy XP-winpe ISO-file to folder EZBOOT and use menu command 'run' or 'bcdw' to launch ISO-file, as this is an NT5-system (typically ERD, BartPE or Reatogo or similar are examples on NT5-PE) You must use my script 'easyboot-iso.script' and tick 'Run ISO from RAM' in script to run ISO from RAM in an correct way.

You misunderstood me You cannot run ISO this way - it halts with BSOD
You must use my script 'easyboot-iso.script' to integrate ISO into easyboot Script automatically show menu command to use in easyboot menu (copy and paste into easyboot menu).
Please double-click to 'READ_ME.html' in folder balder and find the flash-movie that exactly describe the procedure in 'easyboot-iso.script' to integrate XP-winpe
Note: it doesn't matter from where you run ISO - it still must be run from RAM in an special way

You actually do not run the specific ISO from CD in that case - YOU BURN THE CONTENTS OF ISO to CD and files and folders can hereby be accessed from the 'root' on CD (you can visually se files and folders on the CD which is not the case with ISO-file of WinXP-PE - you can se the ISO but not the files - you need a program to access files and folders inside ISO, don't you That's the difference (I'm sure you agree that that is a major difference)
However when you launch ISO directly from EasyBoot, files are 'hided' inside ISO and is not present on the 'root' (folder disk1 is the root in EasyBoot) and are not accessible as files are not present on the 'root' (folder disk1)
Anyway... Great you managed to make it work Note: you can even launch such ISO from USB via EasyBoot menu, but you cannot launch setup of WinXP this way - but that is a different story...
Quote: "it worked" You most likely had folder I386 in folder disk1 at the same time. If files and folders at same time is present in folder disk1 it works, as Windows-PE can 'find' what it needs when 'looking' on the root (folder disk1) even you launched the ISO of WinXP-PE ----------------------------------- Some notes about EasyBoot...
A. You can have several different WindowsPE-ISO-files based on NT5-system (change name in textbox in 'easyboot-iso,script')
B. You can also directly launch ISO-files of WindowsPE based on NT6-systems Note: WindowsPE built from source of Vista\Win7\Server-2008\Win8 are all typical NT6-systems (MsDart60\65\70 is typically NT6-WinPE) . Please note the difference between WinPE based on NT5 and WinPE based on NT6 NT5-PE must be run using my script, but NT6-PE can be run by simply copy ISO to folder EZBOOT and use menu command; Â run ***.iso
C. You can even run EasyBoot from USB with these ISO-files from an hided partition and still launch ISO's correctly from such hided partition (both NT5-systems as NT6-systems of ISO-files)

@ balder..well i checked the winpe xp iso image without easyboot in virtual machine it worked perfectly. u can burn it on cd it will work as well. so if it works from cd then why easyboot did not work without using your script? i appreciate your explanations i do understand what you are saying... By theway it just worked ONLY ONCE with easyboot 6.53 without using your script....i am surprised why.. afterwards NEVER worked with easyboot without using your script..THX.

Yes it could if you at same time (by mistake) had folder I386 in folder disk1 (you could forgotten that folder still was present there) In such case it 'worked', because needed files could be accessed from the root from the 'forgotten' folder I386 (folder disk1 is the root in Easyboot) - this is what I think happened in your case
And why can't 'winpe xp iso' be launched with menu command; run ***.iso Because 'winpe xp iso' is hard-coded and do not run from RAM and can hereby not access the needed drivers to continue - you get BSOD when the system fail to find drivers This is typical for NT5-PE-systems (WinXP-PE is a NT5-system)
But any NT6-system can be launched from EasyBoot by simply copy ISO to folder EZBOOT and use menu command; run ***.iso Typically NT6-PE is Msdart60 etcetera and a lot of other similar PE based on Vista\Win7\Win8 or Server-2008 that all are examples on NT6-systems
And why is it possible to launch such ISO you may ask Well it is run from RAM (you can see how the ISO is 'extracted\loaded' to RAM and can hereby find needed drivers to continue)
However the process used in my 'easyboot-iso.script' is not that different... Anyway... It works to directly launch WinXP-PE-ISO as it is - which is wonderful

No basically you need script to solve this issue No command in EasyBoot works to launch ISO-file of WinXP-PE Use script and it solves your problem with a breeze
Hmmm... Do you have problem using script or have you already tested it worked that way (it is a little bit unclear to me if it worked alright or not)
