Hello
I'm new here. I've followed the exact tutor here:
http://www.ezbsystems.com/cgi-bin....xp+boot
Hiren boot CD works fine in multiboot' but XP SP3 setup runs for about 15 second loading files, then setup stops with the error message: "the file ntfs.sys could not be found..."
I used the SP3 setup disk' it works fine in stand alon single boot... Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Eli

Dear EB1000
After seeing your note ,i checked again, hiren and norton ghost2003 are working very well. May be your ghost iso is currupted or may be you did not do as i explained in link below: http://www.ezbsystems.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=2942
Try to use pathes that i said.

Hi and thanks for the timely reply. I found the problem (more or less). All of the error I reported happened ONLY when I tested the final ISO in SUN Virtual machine.. I tried an physical (burned the ISO to CD and booted with my machine) and it worked fine! So I guess I have a VM software problem.. Do you recommend an alternative to Java VM? By the way, the only minor problem in the Multiboot CD is that the mouse is very sensitive. I only move the mouse an inch and the cursor jumps to the end of the screen.. Is there a solution for this?
Thanks
Eli

Hi Dear EB1000
1.Thank you for infoming the result.
2.The mouse problem is some thing that appears by some systems. i have some bootable applications that act very well with my computer and several others and also gives the same error that you said by some other system.
i have seen a lot of problems but this one is some thing that i could not solve.
3.Note: when checking images that are linux based,as i exprenced,do not use vmware 6,it is better to use at least version 6.5
have fun
