As you get error “NTLDR” – I’m pretty sure that you have a folder i386 inside ISO-file. Correct?
If this is the case you can easily launch ISO-file as it is using my script easyboot-iso.script 
Note1: when using script – make sure you have the ISO-file on the root (C:) and have no space in name like this ERD 2009.iso it must be ERD2009.iso or ERD_2009.iso or whatever. As told – no spaces in name or folder where you keep erd ISO-file 
Note2: Check for “Run ISO from RAM” in script as this ERD2009 you are using, seems to be based on a NT-5 system (server 2003 or similar).

What script didn’t work properly for you 
Did you manage to launch ERD2009 using script “easyboot-iso.script” or did you fail – if so what went wrong

Non of my script are designed to “build XP-live” - my script are designed to integrate Live XP-systems” into EasyBoot – and that is a completely different issue 
However - to create a “Live XP” I recommend you to use BartPE (read HERE) - or Reatogo (read HERE)

Hiren mini-XP is a special stripped version of a XP-PE.
Basically BartPE can create the “base-files” and you can then use a batch-file to remove unneeded files from the PE-build – or remove unwanted files manually.
Note: “real size” to Hiren mini-XP is proximally 122 MB in size before cab is run to image.
So it’s not that small that you think.
Most part of the build is most likely drivers to support different motherboards – in this way the PE-build is more versatile to different motherboards.
You can build such PE-build using BartPE and then use my script easyboot-iso.script and check “Run ISO from RAM” – in this way you heavily reduce size to the complete PE-build you originally created in BartPE (ISO-file is reduced at least with 50% or more).
Here is an example on mentioned batch-file (files that can be removed) to reduce size:

Well this is a big issue  To big  Â
But you can use this solution HERE
Note: some programs doesn’t respond when using this simplified way to integrate hiren miniXP to EasyBoot – but when I have time I can try to solve those last parts of above solution to satisfy your needs – but using ERD-7 is nearly the same as hiren miniXP.
Why not use ERD-7 as it is based on a NT5-system same as hiren miniXP
